Samuel was very busy over the summer, composing the Royal Engineers Suite.
The work is a substantial four-movement work for wind band, which was greeted by the commissioning band with much enjoyment on a run-though of the piece in early October.
The Band of the Royal Engineers is one of the army's most prestigious bands with a very full schedule of concerts, tours and recording and Samuel is thrilled to be working with them.

The premiere of this work is to be held on the 18th December 7.30pm, with a repeat performance the next evening, at the Royal Dockyard Church in Chatham.
